i think if i were you, i would do some self-reflection to determine if a pen pal is a relationship i can handle right now. because i wouldn’t want my pen pal to miss out on envelopes and stickers and glitter or think that me not writing them back had anything to do with them. i also think that this is a great opportunity for you to grow as a human being and a citizen of planet earth and a user of the U.S. Postal Service. Basically what I’m trying to say is: tape the letters you get to your laptop screen and then you will be reminded to answer them every time you try to go on tumblr.
pants advice for the summer? I wear skinny jeans basically every single day in all other seasons but they’re too hot for the summer. and I get cold a lot indoors when I wear shorts…help?
If you’re more femme, cropped skinny jeans rolled up to mid-calf. They will never steer you wrong and you can wear them in a ton of colors.
If you’re more androgynous/butch you can try finding specifically summer weight jeans (super light weight denim) which should still keep you warmer indoors.

i don’t know, sometimes a thing – a work of art or whatever – has to put story over politics, because really interesting things are happening in those places we’re not supposed to look, things that maybe can be meaningful to you just the same, even if you’ll never look there. i think it’s aware of itself.
that’s the only thing that really gets me, is if something is misogynistic while claiming to be pro-woman. the hypocrisy is what irks me.

I never wear skirts in the lab. It just doesn’t work and it’s also sort of not safe to have so much of your leg showing IMHO.
