why am i so compelled to read anything in list form?
i don’t know, but it’s the only advice i’ve really ever taken, for some reason people love lists on the internet, like just absolutely cannot resist a list. and it’s true. actually i know this sounds crazy, but i used to get this “book of lists” every year, via the scholastic book order, i think, but it was sort of for older kids, so maybe it was some other weird way of getting these books. it was just a book of lists of things from the year. i really liked those a lot. i did a top ten each week on autowin. maybe i should just start repubbing autowin and seeing if anybody notices

i would really, really love to create some artist-specific playlists, however the streaming service we currently use (8tracks) doesn’t allow us to include more than two songs from the same artist in a playlist. it’s a licensing thing, i think. i’m looking into other options, spotify maybe.
any particular reason you all changed it from ‘last 10 comments’ to 'last 5 comments’ on the AS homepage? for awhile it had been showing up as 'last 10 comments’ but only loading 5 comments, until like yesterday
yes, there is a reason! i like “last 10 comments” better, too, but alas I cannot have everything I want. our theme was built in 2010, when we were smaller and had less needs. since then we’ve sort of just tacked things onto the theme as we’ve grown, and ultimately what this has led to is huge bandwidth overages for us – as the site pulls information from many different sources – and slower load time for you and more 503 errors. we sort of have to rebuild the website or something so that it will work. anyhow, i guess one of the ways they said we could save on bandwidth for the time being was to change it from last 10 to last 5, and change the number of posts that appear on the front page. so that’s what’s going on there.
i’m a 21-year-old virgin. i really need to get laid. should i wait for it to be with someone i’m totally in love with, or should i bang one of the cute girls on craigslist? both of these options are appealing to me, but one of them takes longer.
