riese i have feelings about skins re: franky and and talk about how she’s confident in her sexuality now, so wears more revealing clothes etc. like, “i like people” was pretty confident no? have you seen the episode, is really my question.

i have not – i watched the first ~15 minutes of the first episode but the stream i got had sound and video off which drives me CAHARAZY. i turned it off when franky got out of the jeep in her purple tank top with her boobs and hair and everything. also somehow i was insanely irritated by the fact that seriously these kids paid for a vacation at a place where there’s no water in the pool and the rooms aren’t anything like they were advertised? i mean, that happens, to some degree, but not to THAT degree. I think honestly that aspect of it annoyed me so much that franky getting out of the car was just a last straw. as soon as i actually finish this state of the union, i will catch up and probably bitch about it.

There’s an ad for Christian Mingle on autostraddle. I’m not complaining (since I’m a Christian myself) I’m just pointing out the irony :P

i know, it’s so fucking weird. we just got doubleclick, ‘cause that’s what all the sites use who make actual money, and i have no control over what comes through. it’s actually based on your web-browsing – like if i go to the citycarshare website, when i go to autostraddle that ad will be for city carshare. but the christian mingle one comes up a lot, as does ron paul. shit like that for me is fucked b/c i do SO much research every day that if i’m writing about mitt romney, i’ll get a republican ad, but it seems like for other people it ends up being a lot of christian mingle, i have no idea why.

today in class we had a guest therapist talking to us about relationships. we asked anonymous questions on index cards. someone asked “why are gays defective?” i got really upset and left the room and said affirmations to myself in the bathroom because..
