i think that “trust issues”
are inevitable
like chicken pox
the really bad kind
that scars
but trust issues aren’t necessarily a trump card
one day you’ll meet a person you can trust
not because “trustworthy” is a fixed quality –
sometimes you can trust a person
who somebody else trusted but shouldn’t have –
but someone who, for whatever reason,
loves you louder than your issues.
