the first place i would recommend going is uke hunt (ukulelehunt.com).
a) they have such a phenomenal name that i would tell you to go there even if their site was shit.
b) they have tips on buying a ukulele and learning to play, as well as chords for everything from will smith to ingrid michaelson.
also, if there’s a music store by you, I’d go there instead of ordering one online because then you can play it before you buy it.
i think that most people are not crazy, they just feel crazy because they have a lot of feelings about a person who has stopped having feelings about them and it’s pretty impossible to feel anything but 100% insane when that happens. they are also very sad and don’t have then energy to stop their mouths and their bodies from saying and doing stupid things. i know this because i was once one of these nutcases.

I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together, when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married.
