So senior prom is coming up and normally I wouldn't care, but I happen to have a date. Problem is, I can't stand dresses or skirts. My friends think I should get a tux, but my mom would be angry with me if I did. Does anyone have suggestions on a different way to look acceptable? Did someone already write about this and I just missed it?

you should wear pants! you can wear women’s pants and a women’s dress shirt and a women’s blazer, will that be good enough for your mom? i think lizz and alex are the experts on this but now that formspring is gone i can’t tell you to go ask them.
