You guys did a story on Zoe Saldana's maybe kind of indicating that she might be bi... and I just have to ask: Don't you think that kind of thing damages the credibility of bisexual women? I mean I'm not saying it should be like "Yea, we're gonna make Zoe for sure come out of the closet", because everybody's personal journey is different. But those kind of comments corroborate the negative stereotypes of bisexual women as wishy-washy, or not sure in their sexuality. What are your thoughts?

I see what you’re saying, but I think there are plenty of famous lesbians being super wishy-washy too! And lawd knows we report on those girls too. Because famous people are weird! Famous people say weird shit all the time to hide or advance this or that.Their career is so dependent on their reputation, so depending on certain objectives they’ll share or withhold certain truths at different times. They lie a lot about their real lives but also — everybody cares way too much about their real lives, so we let them lie because we’re sorta ashamed that we even want to know in the first place. I mean, there are PLENTY of lesbian actresses who claim to be bisexual or straight, too, or who take one step out and then another step back in. I think ultimately with all of these women — lesbian, queer, bisexual, pansexual — either one day they’ll have a girlfriend who will become serious enough that they cannot possibly deny it (like kate moennig & holly miranda), and then we’ll know. or they won’t, and we won’t. BUT WE WILL HAVE TO GO ON JUST THE SAME
