Eich said the reason Mozilla as a community did not take a wider stance on issues such as LGBT marriage was the same as his reason for not explaining his donation: to avoid fragmenting its community. Without a large group of people who disagreed on lots of issues, Firefox would never have happened, he said.

Check out my binding piece on Autostraddle for bra week! - Sonny
So I’ve lived in NYC for a little over a year and a half now. There are about 5,000,000 things that annoy me about this city, but the redeeming factors are endless. The one constant thing that keeps me in love with New York is the food. I like to think I have quite a few signature spots now, and it’s rare that I even want to try hip new places anymore. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite New York eats – both long term lovers and new discoveries.* Also, I needed a way out of doing a recipe post because it’s been a whole lotta Amy’s Organic frozen pizza over here as I try to save money for my Coachella trip in a couple weeks.
I am a huge fan of super cute lingerie. Despite my kinda basic and boring leanings in the underwear department, I love to wear pretty bras. Perhaps this is because I have been rocking them all day every day since third grade. THIRD GRADE, people. When did they stop growing? You know, I’m not entirely convinced they have stopped, to be honest.
I haven’t read these but I’m absolutely dying to. Some are already out. Some are coming out. All look both amazing and also amazingly relevant to your interests.
[Djuan] Trent began watching a lot of YouTube videos and reading blogs by queer women of color and sites like Autostraddle, which helped her decide “queer” was the term for her.
Kickass female protagonists are often skinny, if not fully emaciated, and that’s weird, and also a problem:
“Today’s strong female protagonists are overwhelmingly described as “small,” “skinny,” and “slender.” It seems literature only goes so far in its message of female empowerment, routinely granting its most kickass heroines classically masculine-levels of strength (physical or otherwise) only when cloaked within the trappings of a more delicate—and recognizable—femininity.
On April 22nd, MTV will be premiering a new show called Faking It. According to MTV, “Faking It is a new romantic comedy about two best friends who love each other — in slightly different ways. After numerous failed attempts to become popular, the girls are mistakenly outed as lesbians, which launches them to instant celebrity status. Seduced by their newfound fame, Karma and Amy decide to keep up their romantic ruse.” I have so many feelings about this.
Welcome to the fourteenth episode of the fifth season of Glee, a gentle and tender mini-series about a Jewish beautician from Queens who becomes a nanny for the three children of a British Broadway director who looks a lot like Pierce Brosnon but isn’t. This heart-jerking and tear-warming tale is an allegory for the ages, weaving together instrumental plot elements including but not limited to Rainbow Brite, second cousins, severe psoriasis, apple juice, Sally Struthers, Athlete’s foot, coconut cream pie, churros, goat-milkers, cocoa butter, LSD and free makeovers.

“I’m a broke-ass college student looking to explore the magical world of sex toys, but 1. I’m not putting anything made of a shady material in my body, and 2. I want to explore everything all the time forever. This gets expensive really fast, as I’m sure you know. I was just wondering if you knew of any good sources to buy used sex toys from. I know that’s kind of weird but I buy used everything else and as long as it can be boiled I think that I would be okay with using a used sex toy. Any suggestions?”
