yes i do want kids. it’s jewish tradition to name your kids after a dead relative so i will name her victoria, because my dad’s name was victor. then i’ll call her tory, it’ll be cute.

Do you guys make any money off of Autostraddle? If not, how do you live?
how do we live: beautiful kind helpful nice caring believing people. cheap food. we don;t buy anything. i’m on medicaid. for me personally i am blessed by kind donations from readers and angels. i don’t go out. (unless it’s comped/press passed.) i don’t eat out. i buy all my health & beauty products at the dollar store. i don’t open my bills when they come in the mail b/c they scare me.
also selling stuff on ebay.loans from friends. if anyone will pay me to do anything i will do it, including illegal things. thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars of credit card and other debt. alex lives with her parents and i do my laundry there. investments from friends & team members. the kindness of friends and strangers. hope. occasional freelancing. some ad sales & affiliate sales. angels. we’re on our way. we can make it though. we have what it takes. we will. we are getting our ducks in a row. soon enough. just need people with sales/marketing/investment savvy.it’s coming.
we live on the edge. we think only in future-tense. we believe that things will be better soon, and then we can help everybody.

As the lesbian messiah, how would you go about feeding the entire autostraddle team with only 2 fish and five loaves of bread?
that’s a lot of bread! i don’t think that would be hard. alex would do something with the fish, she watches the food network a lot
do you think you and autostraddle are giving Lindsay exception cards cause she is bi?
well, i don’t think we’d really talk about her at all one way or the other if she was straight, that’s true. but we don’t want to ever promote unverified gossip or tear other women down (unless these women are actively tearing other women down, in which case we might occasionally attempt to tear down their tearing down, though perhaps we might not seem as kind as we imagine ourselves to be), so i guess you could say we try to assume the best (aka grant “exception cards”) ‘cause she is a woman and we feel like a lot of the vitrol against her is misogynistic in nature? personally i wasn’t like a “lindsay lohan fan” or anything before i found out she was queer, in like '07 or whatnot, but i know there are other girls at autostraddle who have always been into her. i think she has a nice rack.
Do you feel weird about the amount of people who don’t actually know you irl but feel like you’re their friend or even savior because you choose to share yourself with the world?
no i don’t feel weird about that
