why do you think that out lesbians on the internet get a lot of lesbian haters? Have you experienced it personally?
i don’t know what motivates lesbian haters to hate on out lesbians on the internet. maybe it happens everywhere, it just feels particularly unfair/hostile when it’s people that are supposed to be on “your side” or actually promote positive visibility and put positive lesbionic energy into the universe. but i honestly don’t know why there are haters. yeah i have experienced it personally i guess, like a long time ago i found out that i’m ugly and um, not funny, i talk about myself too much… I forget. I think most of it was about me being ugly. oh also someone on youtube wanted to rape me and my mom with a broken glass bottle which was nice. also im sure there’s some justified anger at people who feel like lesbians who suck are famous for no reason. though probs there are more productive ways to combat that issue than just being mean and bitchy; like getting involved to change things etc.
What do you have the interns do and did you “hire” any recently? There’s one on the list that I don’t recognize. But I might just be crazy and have a really bad memory.
some of our interns haven’t lifted a finger in months. intern emily, intern laura, intern elizabeth and intern lily write articles. everyone especially emily and elizabeth also do a lot of commenting and tweeting and spreading the word. daphne is an RT champ. rachel and jess are senior writers now, sarah is an associate editor now, lola disappeared, katrina is a misanthropic writer now, lex and vashti owe me 500 push-ups each, tirna and nicole are busy or something, and so this semester the only new intern we hired is Zahra. She owes us an article RIGHTNOW!
