When are both of you going to wake up and realize that NOLA is where it’s at?
I went to NOLA last November and we stayed in a house where my brother lives with his girlfriend. It had high ceilings and we made food and drank and Julia was there and Alex was there too. We also saw him the night before the sweet cruise left, we did drugs and ran around a big monument and the weather was really perfect. before that we went to a bar and i talked to his girlfriend and thought ‘i really like her’ and we went to a restaurant that had a pool out back for gay men to do things to each other and had good food. Anyhow back to the day we had to fly back to new york, he let us take his vespa or whatever for the day and we go to antique shops and meet him for lunch at this soul food place he likes a lot. then we rode around on the bike more and i felt super happy just to have 'wind on my face’. it was a really perfect day.

Will you share some easy vegan recipes? I’m so tired of pb&j, but I 1) am not rich and can’t raid whole foods, and 2) don’t have a ton of time to strain and steam tofu. You seem vegan and busy, so I feel like you’re an expert.
there are pieces being published soon
these pieces will be relevant to your interests, i feel.
if you have specific ideas / requests, i am always available via email or in comments on food posts!
you guys use formspring for weird things.

What was the first concert you ever went to?
BOYZ II MEN, 1995
my mom gave me tickets for my birthday. jennifer and i left school early, which was a bigger deal for her b/c she was in grade 9, so she needed a special note from her uptight mother and it was unexcused, of course, so she’d have to make up the time in saturday school.
i wore my favorite grey/black/purple flannel, bongo jeans, docs and maroon lipstick. i don’t remember what she wore but i’m sure it made her boobs look huge. my stepfather wore earplugs.
when they sang ‘end of the road,’ jennifer and i cried and she knew i missed [boy] and i knew she missed [boy]. we felt pretty sorry for ourselves, but also pretty self-important, because we were having these angsty feelings at a boyz ii men concert instead of in my window seat or on my bed or over the phone.
i am 95% sure we ate at red lobster before the show.
why cant i stop eating?!
you are possibly either:
1. me, last week
2. about to start your period
3. hungry
Remember how Elena Kagan was confirmed as the third woman currently on the Supreme Court? I know, it’s been easy to forget about. Maybe she can still save the day for women as far as SCOTUS is…
