i like writing on paper. i’ve filled 3 journals just since last november when things got weird and the only thing that felt normal was a pen.

find books. donate ten or fifteen dollars and i’ll send you a zine. make a thing. get a part-time job somewhere really strange and then make your own zine about that. get your friends to print pages of AS for you.

i mean, is this like no internet egypt-style? or no internet i-didn’t-pay-the-bill-style? i don’t know how sorry to feel for you.

I have trouble talking about my girlfriend to my friends with girlfriends because my girlfriend is more like a boyfriend. But I can’t talk about this boyfriend to my friends who have boyfriends because they see him as my girlfriend. Do you see my problem?

I was approached a couple weeks ago by the editors at Autostraddle about writing for them.

As you may know Autostraddle is a lesbian-leaning queer site and this introduction post talks about how I as a man can still fit in that setting.

I’m SO excited to be writing for them - the site is full of hilarious articles and videos as well as some really well-thought-out posts. Definitely an honor to count myself among their ranks, I think.
