how is living by yourself (ie without roommates) going?
it’s going real nice! i love my apartment, i have my little bicycle, i can put shit where i want to and i don’t ever have to wear pants. i miss natalie (my roommate in new york) a lot, i wish someone else would do the dishes, and i wish i could steal someone else’s shampoo or ibuprofen or TAMPONS when mine run out, but i deal.
to be fair, bcw comes over literally every night at some point so i’m kinda cheating — it’s definitely weirder to live alone when everyone is out of town, like over christmas break.
it’s possible of course that living alone is turning me into a crazy unsupervised human capable of imminent destruction?

I know the only way I can possibly leave my apartment tonight/be social is to drink copious amounts of liquor, but I don’t think I want to be that girl. Thoughts?
well, you’re either gonna be that girl or you’ll be the girl who is in her apartment instead of going out. so decide if you want to go out or not, and if you do, then you do what you do. don’t have more than one drink before you get there, and then just play it as it lays. or stay at home and read sady doyle’s article on autostraddle three times.
i’m feeling sad and lonely and am also a little high. what should i do? or watch or read… or eat.
