i think the chet baker + cake baking angle is great. work that. i am 100% certain the cake baking alone is enough to get you loved/laid.
i am secretly super paranoid and superficial about my hair, so usually i provide a series of annotated photographs and then monitor every moment of the actual haircutting execution with my eyes narrowed into tiny skeptical slits. i would recommend a more laid-back approach.

Here’s the deal: Autostraddle is doing Girl Bar, which means we’ll be at Girl Bar’s pool parties and Girl Bar’s dancey situations that make me feel weird and frolicking up and down the hallways of Girl Bar’s host hotels (Hotel Zoso and the Hyatt Regency). Some of the people you know and love from AS will be doing Club Skirts (Miss April Sarah Croce, for examp).
Will you see us at all? I feel like there’s a good chance you will, because it seems like everything happens withing a 3-block radius or something. You will probably see us at the Coffee Bean or anywhere that sells sweet potato fries.
Also guess what! There are a couple of single-event tickets that you can buy in advance, like for Gurlesque on that Saturday night and the comedy show on Thursday!

it’s been a while since i read the books but i think while harry is staying with the weasleys one summer he has a sort of small upstairs attic bedroom situation? i think that. that sounds like a very nice place to read a book/nap/write long letters to be delivered via owl/build paper airplanes/practice magic spells/eat small snacks. i think that is a place i would like to be.
i really hope that it only *seems* like most of you are severely insecure and hopeless-feeling w/r/t future / present relationships. because COME THE FUCK ON.
