What the heck is happening with Generation L? I looked for episodes, and all I found were these 3 minutes snippets on Youtube. Is that the show? I thought it was going to be a full length show. I ask because you’re Australian and stuff.

Yeah I think those 3 - 4 minute youtube clips are the Generation L wepisodes. My guess is that they’re making this web series with no funding, hence the episodes being so short. I think the ultimate goal is to make a television series? I’ve emailed them and asked what’s the haps, will keep you posted via autostraddle.com

How do you make a long distance relationship work?

i don’t do long distance relationships as like policy. i don’t know how other people make them work. i like to live a life together with another person. have a life together in the same place. not in the same apartment! but the same place. and be there when needed. also, you can touch people easier that way.

we don’t have a car and so i get everywhere i go in oakland by foot or by bike and so when it rains i like can’t do things. everything is just far enough away that walking there is a pain but too close to get a bus (for which i would have to wait in the rain). i have a serious PONCHO though. i think my bike fell over in the rain again. i feel like my bike IS A TANK.

everytime i go to eat i find myself feeling like i shouldnt/cant. im thinner than my ex now (used to be the exact same) and i feel like i need to stay thinner, and get EVEN thinner, because then maybe she will love me again and take me back. am i wrong?

yes, you are wrong. did you break up because you were the same weight? i’m guessing no. you broke up for other reasons. i feel like this competitive weight thing is kinda dangerous and indicative of a sort of unpromising relationship? but if this is what you want then you need to look at fixing the reasons you broke up, not starving to death. ok? go eat a sandwich now. it’s energy! your brain will work better and so will your body and heart and all the things you need for the large beautiful life ahead of you.

my family told me (as the oldest “kid” and only unmarried without children) that its my turn next. i want it to be my turn next but i can’t find the girl! angst sigh angst. i hope there before it’s too late for kids. do you want kids, riese?

omg, this is so weird, we were just talking about how we feel like lesbians never get old because we don’t have the same life-markers as straight people and parents have to be oddly really evolved to even want their kids to get gay married and also there’s no legal marriage in most of america. and then this question!
