you have to accept the somewhat large possibility that your first kiss will be mild to moderately awkward / funny. funny kisses are cute and, unless she’s a total meanie, even if she turns away, she’ll do it nicely.
but no you don’t necessarily have to drink. that will give you [drink] breath, also.

ohhhh well you didn’t say she was your gf. yes, when she’s your gf she should text back in a timely fashion, at least w/in the day, which is why you should take the title of gf very seriously. lots of implications there.

The Menace believes that if an organization is going to wrap themselves in the LGBT rainbow flag, they must be 100% inclusive and equal. If they want to exclude transgender, they need to drop the LGBT pretense and dump the rainbow or face the wrath of an increasingly angry mob of trangenders and our allies. LGBT organizations that are not fully inclusive of the transgender community are really no more than closed-door groups lying to everyone by displaying the rainbow flag or the using the acronym LGBT.

LGBT organizations where transgender is not an equal partner in organizational affairs are deceiving their own communities and the world at large.

To put it bluntly, if you are not universally inclusive and equal to all LGBT, don’t call yourself LGBT.

hi this is bcw.
bcw stands for “britney canada whore.” once upon a time a long time ago - circa 2007 - i started commenting on this website you may have heard of called jezebel.com. i was trying to think of a screen name and sometimes tracie would post about the tv show The Hills, which i didn’t watch but happened to have watched the night before, and in the episode i saw, this girl was going through some boy named JustinBobby’s phone and found the name “BritneyCanadaWhore.” i decided on that because it had the word Canada in it and I’m Canadian, and thought it might seem like an obscure/witty reference (it was really only the former, though.) then when i started commenting on Autostraddle i shortened it to bcw.

What do you do, when you fuck everything up with someone, but it took pretty much losing them, to realize that you’re falling in love with them?

+ surprise her with her favorite dinner/tickets to a thing/something that she likes/a german shepard/a new car/a beach house in puerto vallerta/ a trip to historic williamsburg virginia / a trip to Wally World/ a trip to Wal-Mart / a trip, like with drugs
+ listen to her whine & complain about her life
+ send her an obnoxious flower boquet (i like ones that proclaim “happy grandparents day!” or something off-topic) or an edible creation at work or to her house, ideally when other people are there (family, coworkers) to observe your kindness and say something about how sweet you must be

you have to submit yourself
be entirely transparent
not get upset when they don’t trust you
(remember that it’s your fault)

it might not go the way you want it to
but at least you’ll know you gave it your best shot
