+ why do you think it’s wrong to pay (or let her pay) on a first date? i find it kind of awkward to split the bill, makes it seem more friend-y and less date-y
+ Why is it bad to let the other girl pay on the first date? What if you pick up the tab the second date?
i just think it’s best to be as independent as possible on the first freaking date! why would you let a complete stranger pay for your food? that’s fucking weird.
also seriously re: meeting at the destination vs. being picked up, what if the date is terrible? do you want to be trapped there without your own way home? or worse, be in charge of taking her home after a horrible date? no you do not.
god no one ever listens to me.
i usually read every article in bitch magazine and sometimes those articles are about oprah. maybe it was one of these two:

find someone new to love

that takes all the fun out of it
you know?
find someone you can tell.
no no no no no
you do not let someone pick you up at your house on a first date.
and since you’re asking for my opinion, here are some other things you shouldn’t do on the first date (or at the very least, it should be your goal to not do these things) according to me, laneia:
+ let her pay
+ have sex
+ talk about your ex-fucking-girlfriend
+ drink too much
i don’t think the US version will satiate your appetite for additional Skins
Yeah, I’m more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I’m the dominant one. I’m opening the doors, I’m buying dinner. Yeah, I’m romantic.
