inertia is a law of physics; none of us are immune to it, you know? if it wasn’t this town, it would just be a different one.
i feel like what you are really asking is how you will survive. the answer is that you will put up with as much as you can, and eventually you will leave. it won’t last forever. nothing does.
i think you should ask alex so that you can get the opposite answer.
to me it feels like a place where there’s a lot of interest in how you look, how you dress, what you drive, etc. for me that just gives me a lot of anxiety, basically, and makes me feel really high-strung and insecure like i did in like, junior high. but i think it probably feels different than that for people in that line of work (models/actresses) and also for kids who were never teased for how they look at any point in their lives. i think it’s a place that’s different for everybody. the weather is nice but gets really hot. sometimes you feel like you’re in a really supremely beautiful place and it’s kinda stunning. sometimes you feel like a nut. and sometimes you don’t.
take off all of your clothes and/or all of their clothes and then kiss and touch them. rinse, wash, repeat.
we have to do something i think. you should email me with suggestions.
you should all email with suggestions for AS-related activities at bonnaroo! for sure we should at least decide on a must-see artist and declare the left side of the tent during that person’s set as AS’s side or something. yeah?
