what percentage of people on Autostraddle (do you suspect) are possible murderers? I’m seriously worried about going to a meet-up..?
i would say 0-1%. i have been to two meetups and the worst thing that happened was slightly overpriced food. if you are super worried, i suggest pulling out some craigslist hookup techniques and telling a friend or eight where you are going, with who and when, and then texting them every half hour so they know you’re not dead. but seriously, go to a meetup.

what is your gym routine?
lately my gym routine has been to “not go to the gym ever” because it is so nice out that i cannot bear to be inside on an elliptical when i have already spent the whole day inside. so i have been going for a lot of long walks and doing yoga sometimes.
when i do go to the gym i do 30-50 minutes of cardio, usually the elliptical, then 20 minutes or so of weight machines and then stretching and crunches.
are crystal and sara quin dating?
i think they recently divorced but you’d have to ask her. i don’t know if she can talk about it, b/c the custody thing was kinda messy. like jon & kate plus 8.
Do you/have you ever written fiction?
yup, that used to be all i wrote, actually…
growing up i wrote a lot of novels. then in school, more short stories, also short stories for contests. also plays and screenplays, which i’d film/put on.
i mostly wrote for fun, but then i started at interlochen arts academy as a creative writing major my junior year of high school, and then did the creative writing sub-concentration at university of michigan where my honors thesis had to be a completed short story book. it was called “you were being normal.” for a while i published a lot of erotica, like in a lot of books or whatever. which is funny now but whatever.

Do you get your formspring questions sent straight to your inbox? If you do that must get busy. i don’t know how you manage to sift through to find the scariest/most important ones. Do you have a system?
i don’t get notifications for anything besides autostraddle comments and twitter direct messages b/c otherwise my inbox would explode. i’ve never had any kind of notifications on for twitter, facebook or formspring. that also means going to those places is more exciting b/c there might be something waiting for me that i didn’t know about.
