aw, not that’s cute i always secretly wanted a southern accent, i love them! my aunt from australia does a really special imitation of my apparently “midwestern” accent (which somehow also includes ocassional pronunciations picked up from friends who live in new jersey or the NYC suburbs)

i didn’t do a true blood recap! nowhere on that page did i say the word “recap”! i just wanted to talk about true blood with everybody so i wrote some stuff about what happened which i guess could be considered a “mini-cap” and then we talked about it. it took like 2 hrs to write – Real L Word recaps require about 24 hours of actual work to produce. And I have produced a Real L Word recap every week including this week soooooooooo

it’s not awkward! this is not awkward.
it’s easy to assume that if a person likes / dislikes a thing about themselves, they automatically like / dislike that thing in other people, and that’s just not true. she likely has no expectations about your ladyhairs and just prefers hers to be trimmed instead of waxed.
if you really want to get her opinion, you could start by saying something nice about her grooming decisions and maybe she’ll have something to say about yours. if this doesn’t get a reaction, you could just flat out ask her if she prefers waxed or trimmed or if it matters to her at all. this can be a light topic, you know? it’s not like you’re asking her to carry your fetus.
i would NOT tell her that she’s the first girl you’ve been with who didn’t wax. it’s just unnecessary and has a lot of potential to make her worry or feel self-conscious. be honest if she asks, but i wouldn’t bring it up.
i was out of town for a bit and while i was gone, i was text-flirting shamelessly with her, everyday. she was flirting back. now that i’m in the same time zone and… nothing. how do i mediate this?? WHY is she doing this??!
have YOU text-flirted and she’s not replied? or are you waiting on her? i feel like gay girls can sometimes accidentally wait on the other one, when really you should just say what you need to say.
maybe she’s expecting you to ask her out directly, now that you’re back in town. or maybe she’s trying to finish a book or feels embarrassed about the last thing she texted you or has a lot of work to do and no time to do it.
once again, i defer to my best advice: ask her.
