How do you stop wanting the things that you want? Want can be so destructive.
i agree – wanting is like a bad habit. i think the only way to break a bad habit is to stop participating in it entirely and replace it with a new, better habit. because wanting is in your mind, you may want to try replacing it with meditation or positive thoughts about yourself or planning a vacation or how you’d like to reorganize your kitchen cabinets. don’t you think reorganizing the kitchen cabinets is one of the most underrated cleansing activities? i really love it. there’s almost always a better place for the mugs.
