1. the correct way. though my southernness lends me surprisingly little insight into the laneias of the world, having never encountered one previously.
while my observations of a laneia in the wild have been somewhat limited, i do suspect the species and i share feelings with regard to ironic cheese grits, reappropriated trucker hats, and southern drawals that emerge approximately 2.5 drinks into the evening

2. no one’s first relationship is perfect, i think that’s actually the point of first relationships
3. probably a good place to start w/r/t making it not go wrong is to try not to worry about it being perfect
4. in my opinion the best way to make things not go wrong is to make muffins together and eat them while you watch the x files in bed in your underwear [or insert lesser show of your choice here]

i went to h&m and just resigned myself to spending like $200. i bought basic solid-colored long-sleeved shirts to wear under sweaters and cardigans and gray and black pants.
also, eventually i quit, and i feel like that helped a lot
