so i googled lesbian shoes and nothing from AS came up. have you talked about shoes at all? i feel like sometimes i need something more professional than converse, you know? i’m young but i feel like i should be a lot older. not granny, but not sandbox.

how do i motivate myself to get through finals?
let me tell you something about real life: it’s pass/fail. real life is pass-fail. But it’s worse than that, actually, because you only have control over some of it. You don’t get a B+ on a job application or an A- on your movie audition or a C+ on your article submission. You get it or you don’t. You can work your ass off and not get it, you can barely try and get it. This experience will remind you slightly of the college admissions process, if you still remember how unnecessarily excruciatingly stressful that was on your little teenaged brain.
But school? They tell you on the first day how to get an A! They TELL YOU. They write it down on paper for you to TAKE HOME and READ AGAIN. They tell you exactly what you need to do to succeed. Sure there are wild cards – some subjects you can’t master no matter how hard you try. But by and large, you can choose success. You can just pick it and get it. There are infinite B-pluses in the world of education, but there are a finite amount of jobs in the world of the world. Hold on to nineteen as long as you can, is what I’m saying.
Why did New Directions get to sing 3 songs, while the Troubletones only got to sing 1? I call shenanigans.
