In my opinion as someone who works a proper respectable job I would say it might not be your best move. It’s pretty hard to get work right now and there’s no reason to set yourself up for any extra trouble. Maybe you should wait until you get said job and then feel out the environment. They can’t really fire you for having cool hair, but they can make unfair judgements about you before hiring you.
Aw, just stumbled across this bit of vintage Technostraddle. <3

On Sunday we’ll be live-blogging/tweeting/chatting [TBA] the Finale Event from New Autostraddle 1.0 — a venture which you’ll hear more about next week. The URL is www.autostraddle.com and although right now that just redirects here, pretty soon it won’t, and … um … it’s kinda awesome, like … yeah. Just be excited, add it to your bookmarks toolbar RIGHTNOW, and be prepared for change. You know, change? That thing Ilene doesn’t want Shane to ever do? - from the l word 607 recap
Brown, blonde or red depending on your skin tone. I know there are a lot of pro fun colored hair people out there, but what if you suddenly were somewhere where an amazing job opportunity could occur? A job opportunity where it would be good to have natural looking hair. What then? What. Then.
If you really really really want funky colored hair, reds and pinks tend to look better. Blues and purples sometimes fade to a moldy color.
I vote dark brown because that’s the color of my hair.
Take a deep breath, it’s gonna be okay. It’s just hair. if you hate it you can alway grow it back or get extensions. If you really really hate it you can wear a bandana.
But probably it will look great.
You have to wear what you feel comfortable in. If you feel comfortable then you’ll act more confident and acting confident is hotter. Ergo, wearing what’s comfortable will make you hotter.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo inspired collection for H&M is fantastic. It’s by the movie’s costume designer Trish Summerville, who I’ve been a fan of since she did all of Christina Aguilera’s styling during her glorious Stripped era (oh yes, all those rocknrolla outfits came from this woman’s brain.)
This jacket, though, is probably my favorite piece from the collection.

What happened in it? What was their total? TELL ME EVERYTHING
