There’s this girl I like, and she likes me, but we live in different states. She doesn’t want a long-distance relationship because she doesn’t think it’ll work out? Do LDR work?
for me, so much of what i love about a relationship is the daily stuff, the having somebody here HERE, making a life with somebody. so i can’t do LDRs and never have. but! that’s just me. i think it works just fine for a lot of people. you may very well be one of those people! but if she’s not one of those people then that’s probably the last word on it, for her.
maybe make a list of everything you like about having a girlfriend and note how many of those things can be achieved in an LDR vs. a local relationship. figure out what you want. and then decide what to do next.
