I’d love more of your fashion advice that’s applicable to people of different body types (ie find a blazer that fits at your shoulders). Way more helpful than ‘try jcrew’. I haven’t fit in anything at jcrew since I was 15.
Hmm I’ll take that in to consideration. I’ll try to branch out body-type more. I know I have a tendency to address trends more than fits.
I push J. Crew for three reasons. First, Jenna Lyons is a lesbian and I love her forever. Secondly, there’s actually a lot there for different body types. Their button-ups are great for busty women, the women’s blazers fit my broad shoulders, their menswear comes in narrow fit for bigger butch women and their boys stuff is great for little boi dykes. Also their swimsuits come in separates sized with cup sizes. Finally, a lot of people ask me how to dress nicer and while not everyone has access to a Nordstrom, Bloomindale’s or various fancy-pants boutiques, most malls have a J. Crew.
Also I like those long shorts they’re showing right now.
