I graduated from college 4 months ago, I still can’t find a job and I’m sick of living with my parents. I got into to City Year, which I’m not enthused about b/c the pay really sucks… but it might pay for school loans. What should I do?
well, pay that sucks is still more than zero pay. also, paying for school loans is a huge deal. that said, there are fifty ways to be miserable! if you think you would be more miserable in city year than you would with your parents, then maybe don’t do it. but you might be less miserable than you think — meeting new people when you’re not feeling great about your life can work out really well. also, if commercials for city year are any indication, you maybe get a free jacket, so.
