so do I stay in and order sushi or do I go to the gay bar alone? I’m really bored and my cat is being weird so going out sounds fun but am I grownup enough to go to bars alone and not be awkward? probably not, but should I go anyway?
hm. i never ‘went out.’ i mean i’ve been out, but not often enough to know anything about bar culture, so i don’t know how you would go about not being awkward. i think the key is smoking? it seems like people who smoke have automatic friends or something. the one time i went to a gay bar alone, i just sat by myself at a table for like 3 hrs texting and checking my email. and drinking. obviously.
also though, if the cat’s being weird, you should probably just leave.
