autostraddle.com tumblr presence

There’s an ad for Christian Mingle on autostraddle. I’m not complaining (since I’m a Christian myself) I’m just pointing out the irony :P

i know, it’s so fucking weird. we just got doubleclick, ‘cause that’s what all the sites use who make actual money, and i have no control over what comes through. it’s actually based on your web-browsing — like if i go to the citycarshare website, when i go to autostraddle that ad will be for city carshare. but the christian mingle one comes up a lot, as does ron paul. shit like that for me is fucked b/c i do SO much research every day that if i’m writing about mitt romney, i’ll get a republican ad, but it seems like for other people it ends up being a lot of christian mingle, i have no idea why.
